We Are Not Amused

I'm enjoying my tablet...this is what I've been working on off and on for the last couple of days. Not getting much done in one sitting because I get distracted or have to go place or blah blah blah. And for now, I'm calling it done, because it'll take for-freaking-ever if I wait until it's all nicely shaded to put it up (since I suck at that, especially with Sin's pale skin and the braids. Speaking of braids, those still look crappy, but I got fed up.)

So...it's Sin, and it's cut off because it's from a larger picture but I just wanted to show my friend this part. Because for some reason I am absolutely in love with how his neck turned out...I don't know why...but I keep looking at it and going "Yeah, definitely like how that looks." Yeeeaaaahhh...

Incidentally, this is probably the closest I've come yet to really getting the result I want of how I envision Sin...I think in realism, unfortunately, but this picture is as close as I've yet come to "capturing" some of those little intangible things you feel when you talk to someone but that are really hard, if not impossible, to actually DRAW...so I'm very pleased with how this came out, despite the bad coloring and crappy lines (which I may fix eventually).

Title comes from watching Monty Python earlier, and the fact that his expression leads me to believe he's saying something like "Very funny, now get your ass back to work." Or possibly "It can't have hurt that bad, you baby. Now get up." Because he's nice and supportive like that. ^^
